🚀 Three companies dominate the $189 billion in venture capital investments

A report from Crunchbase reveals that in February, a record $189 billion was registered in global venture capital investments, with artificial intelligence startups capturing 90% of this capital. This impressive amount is more than three times the global venture capital spending of January.
This surge in investment was led by three giants: OpenAI, Anthropic, and Waymo. OpenAI stood out with a fundraising of $110 billion, becoming one of the largest private rounds in history and valuing the company at $730 billion. Anthropic, on the other hand, raised $30 billion in its Series G round, reaching a valuation of $380 billion. Finally, Waymo raised $16 billion, with a valuation of $126 billion.
These three companies together were responsible for 83% of the venture capital raised last month, representing one-third of the total $425 billion invested in 2025.
